Discovery Day: Indigenous Landscapes

Discover the many ways Indigenous peoples have shaped the Texas landscape at our next Discovery Day! This family-friendly event invites you to explore the deep connections between people and plants, from the ways Native communities have traditionally used plants for food and materials to their roles in culture and tradition.
In partnership with tribal representatives and community partners, visitors of all ages can take part in hands-on activities, live demonstrations and interactive experiences while learning about Indigenous knowledge, cultural traditions and the lasting relationship between people and the natural world.
