Interested in volunteering with the Center this Spring? Join us for our volunteer training sessions! These sessions help introduce you to our participatory science surveys and other volunteer opportunities. Each session is offered both in-person and virtually. To register for these free training sessions, click the link below to visit our Better Impact volunteer hub and fill out a volunteer application. You will be required to create a free Better Impact account and submit your 2024 Volunteer Waiver to access the trainings registration. Don't worry if you miss the initial sessions—all trainings will be recorded and shared via email with registrants. Each training will be offered in hybrid format, you can attend in-person or tune in virtually via Zoom. All trainings start at 6PM.Offered Trainings:
Shorezone Fish & Blue Crab Survey - March 6 at Georgetown Public Library (123 W Pine St. Georgetown, DE 19947)
Reforestation Survey - March 20 at the Center's Headquarters
Horseshoe Crab Survey - March 27 at Georgetown Public Library
Diamondback Terrapin Survey - April 10 at the Center's Headquarters
Discovery Bay - May 8 at the Center's Headquarters
Introduction to Volunteer Management Software (Better Impact) - April 24 and May 22, location to be announced soon
