Join us to explore the fantastic trees of Calderstones Park, home to the 1000 year old Allerton Oak. Throughout the day, we'll delve into what defines a tree, exploring its biology, ecology, and the invaluable roles trees play in the environment. and you'll develop the skills needed to identify a range of tree species.
Trees are an integral part of the natural world and intimately connected to human civilizations. Embark on a journey into the heart of nature with our one-day workshop dedicated to discovering the wonders of trees.
By the end of this workshop, you'll not only have a greater appreciation for trees, their care but also the knowledge to identify and understand the trees in your community. Join us and deepen your connection to nature through the incredible world of trees.
The day will be both in the classroom and out in the gardens so please wear suitable boots/clothing, and bring a waterproof. There is a wonderful café at The Reader or please feel free to bring your own packed lunch and drinks.
