Discover the fascinating story of the shofar, one of the world's oldest musical instruments, in this hands-on family workshop.

Handle a real shofar up close, then discover its history and significance in Jewish tradition. Families will make a colourful shofar-inspired craft to take home, learn the four traditional shofar calls, and have the chance to hear — and perhaps try — a real shofar.

Put your new knowledge to the test with a fun family quiz before continuing your adventure with a museum gallery trail, where you can spot horned animals and discover the natural inspiration behind the shofar.

This interactive workshop combines creativity, craft, music and discovery for an enjoyable introduction to a unique part of Jewish heritage.

Suitable for families with children aged 4 to 12 (children must be accompanied by an adult. Please book a ticket for children and adults.
