Curious about what happens to garbage once it leaves your curb? Grab the family and come see behind the scenes at the Scott Area Landfill!
We're offering landfill tours on Monday, June 15 at 9am, 11am, or 1pm. The tour is free, but spots are limited, and registration is required.
What to expect: We'll gather briefly in the meeting room at the landfill before hopping in a van for a riding tour of the Scott Area Landfill with our Landfill Operations Manager. The group will deboard the van at our landfill viewing area to get a better look at where the garbage is being added below. We finish back in our meeting room with refreshments and questions.
