DISCOVER THE ART OF TRANSPARENCY WITH BRUCE McCLENDON!
Have you ever looked at a clear glass, jar, or vase and wondered, “How in the world do artists paint that?”
Now is your chance to learn!
Artcetera is excited to welcome Bruce McClendon for a special, hands-on painting class designed to help you explore one of the most fascinating techniques in still-life painting: creating the illusion of transparency!
How do you paint something you can see right through?
How do you capture the reflections, highlights, shadows, and subtle shifts of light that make clear glass look real?
How do you bring an ordinary glass jar or vase to life on canvas?
Bruce will guide you through the principles of painting transparent objects, helping you understand how light, reflections, and shadows work together to create depth and realism. The beautiful floral painting pictured here is an example of the kind of subject matter where these techniques can shine!
Whether you're an experienced painter looking to sharpen your skills or an enthusiastic artist ready to learn something new, this is a chance to explore a technique that can open up exciting new possibilities in your artwork.
