Join us for a day-long Gelliplate printing workshop where creativity knows no bounds! Perfect for beginners and seasoned artists alike, this hands-on session will introduce you to the playful and experimental world of monoprinting. Using a gel plate, you’ll explore layering, texture, and colour to create unique prints on paper or fabric.Throughout the day, you’ll learn:
* How to use found objects, stencils, and natural materials to build dynamic textures.
* Techniques for layering and composition to develop your own visual style.
* Tips for incorporating Gelliplate prints into larger creative projects like collage, textiles, or bookmaking.
All materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own items to experiment with, such as leaves, lace, or textured fabrics. Leave with a collection of vibrant prints and the skills to continue your Gelliplate journey at home!
Suitable for ages 16 and up. No prior experience necessary — just bring your imagination and a willingness to explore.
