MARSEILLE VISIT – LONG WEEKEND IN SEPTEMBER

Let’s speak French and enjoy a friendly weekend in one of the sunniest city in the world.

You don’t need to speak French to join the group but this trip is a great opportunity to practise your French if you want to.

Caroline who was born, raised and lived in Marseille for over 25 years will be your host during your stay.

The group will arrive on Friday and return on Sunday evening.

You have 2 options: arrive on Friday before 12PM or arrive on the evening.

The ones who will arrive before 12PM will take the shuttle to the Chateau d’If and visit the Castle.

They will also visit Frioul Islands, the Palais du Pharo Park and Vallon des Auffes.

During the rest of the stay, the group will visit Marseille Old Port and its fish market, Fort Saint Jean, Fort Saint Nicolas, MUCEM building, the Cathedrale Basilique La Major, le Panier, Notre Dame de la Garde, Palais Longtemps, la Prefecture, Castellane and Cours Julien.

Please make sure that you wear comfortable walking shoes because you will mainly walk during the day. You will also use public transport.

Option 1 – Includes Afternoon Visit on Friday of the Chateau d’If

£300 per person (not refundable but we can help you to find a replacement) based on a double room occupancy (twin beds or double beds upon request and availability). The bedrooms are allocated on first come first served basis.

We can help to find a roommate.

2-night stay in a central hotel with breakfast

Visit of the Chateau d’If: including shuttle, visit of the Castle and Frioul Islands

3 days public transport pass

Option 2 – Arrival on Friday Evening

£275 per person (not refundable but we can help you to find a replacement) based on a double room occupancy (twin beds or double beds upon request and availability). The bedrooms are allocated on first come first served basis.

We can help to find a roommate.

For Option 1 and Option 2, Price does not include:

Flight to Marseille – We will shortly add flights information

Shuttle from Marseille airport to Marseille Saint Charles Station (around €17.00 round/trip)

Food and drinks during all the trip

Please note that you are responsible for your own safety and you must travel with an insurance.

Also check your travel requirements for your stay in France.

In case of bad weather, we will make alternative plans.

Unfortunately, no children are allowed for that trip.

We will create a WhatsApp group shortly to ensure that you have all the information you need and meet the group.

To confirm your place an initial deposit of £50 (non-refundable unless trip is cancelled) needs to be paid asap. Full payment will be needed to confirm the hotel booking.
