Discover Hunger Network: Open House
About this Event
Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back and make a difference in our community? Or perhaps you’ve heard of Hunger Network and would like to learn more about who we are, what we do, and the people we serve.
Join us on Thursday, September 24, from 5:30–7:00 p.m. for an informal and engaging Open House at Hunger Network. It’s an opportunity to meet our team, learn more about our mission and programs, see our work firsthand, and discover the many ways you can become part of the effort to ensure no one goes hungry and no food goes to waste.
During the evening, Hunger Network staff will share our history, mission, programs, and impact throughout Greater Cleveland. You’ll also have the opportunity to tour our MidTown Market Food Pantry and see our new Food Rescue Kitchen (The FoRK)—where surplus food recovered by our Food Rescue Heroes is transformed into nutritious, ready-to-eat meals for people in our community. Enjoy light refreshments while meeting members of our team and others who share an interest in making Greater Cleveland a stronger, healthier community.
There will be plenty of time to ask questions, exchange ideas, and learn more about the work happening throughout our network. Most importantly, we want you to discover how you can make a difference. Whether you’re interested in volunteering, sharing your professional expertise, making connections, supporting our programs, getting involved with food rescue, or simply learning more about Hunger Network, there are many ways to contribute. Come see what we do, meet the people who make it possible, and discover how your time, talents, resources, and connections can help us feed our communities’ future.
We hope you’ll join us for an evening of conversation, connection, and discovery. We look forward to welcoming you to Hunger Network!
