Have you heard about forró before? It is a Brazilian couple's dance that combines close connection with joyful figures and sophisticated footwork.
Simple and complex at the same time, it offers an open door to a vast musical culture rooted in rural Brazil. It is the first time Ottawa is hosting a beginner forró program.
Join us this fall for a 12-week beginner-friendly journey to discover Forró in Ottawa.
Originating from Northeastern Brazil, Forró is a social partner dance known for its beautiful music, close connection, and welcoming community. You don't need previous dance experience and you don't need to come with a partner.

7:45 - 9:00 PM: class
9:00 - 9:30: practice
You will learn:
