Fahd Alhattab, a distinguished leadership development expert, founded Unicorn Labs, a cutting-edge agency that elevates managers into high-performing team leaders.
His leadership journey began with philanthropy, founding a camp for underprivileged children and raising $1.2M for local charities in Ottawa. Recognized with Canada’s Top 20 Under 20 Award, Fahd served as President of his University Student Union.
As an education reformist, Fahd reshaped 40 courses between the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Social Sciences, integrating experiential learning, entrepreneurship and social innovation Fahd created the Venture Initiative, where students worked directly with community partnerships on local challenges, introducing entrepreneurship and social innovation frameworks, collaborating with professors to redesign courses for experiential learning.

Fahd Alhattab’s impact extends beyond academia. He is a liaison, promoting social innovation and entrepreneurship within uOttawa and the broader community. Committed to creating leaders capable of scaling startups, Fahd emphasizes effective leadership, team-building, and cultural development.

In this lecture, we will delve into the process of developing a core business concept, particularly tailored for the legal profession. Learn how to identify opportunities within the legal market and create innovative solutions.
This aligns with the core competency of a Structured Entrepreneurial Process, encouraging the approach of entrepreneurship methodically.
Thursday March 7th: Find Problems and Opportunities

In this workshop, we’ll explore techniques to identify and empathize with potential clients' needs and pain points, aligning with the core competency of Customer-Centric Product Development.
The lecture aims to achieve the learning outcome of identifying and understanding customer needs, which is essential for law students aiming to innovate in their field.
Thursday April 4th: Aligning Idea with Market Needs

In this lecture, students learn to align entrepreneurial ideas with legal market needs using the Business Model Canvas. Core competencies in Business Model Innovation and Value Proposition Design are emphasized, fostering holistic thinking in the legal market context.
This lecture aims to develop innovative business models and craft effective value propositions through hands-on workshops and group sessions, enhancing understanding of the legal market.
