FREE EVENT! The Courage Kenny Adaptive Sports and Recreation Team is hosting the Discover Abilities Expo, presented by Coloplast, is a showcase of adaptive sports and recreational opportunities in Minnesota. With over 60+ organizations represented, you’ll discover a wide range of sports and recreational programs, resources, adaptive equipment and more specifically tailored to support individuals with different abilities. From traditional competitive sport offerings to recreational programs such as theatre and dance, there's something for everyone.
You’ll have the chance to:
• Learn, observe, and try various sports and recreational activities adapted for people with disabilities including golf, sled hockey, nordic skiing, arts, theater, wheelchair basketball, rock climbing, adaptive fitness, power soccer, and more.
• Meet with representatives from local adaptive sports and recreation organizations.
• Discover resources to help you access and fund adaptive equipment.
• Panel discussions and presentations featuring athletes and directors from local organizations.
Be sure to register for FREE "tickets" to the event to receive updated information about the schedule, parking, etc.
