Join us for an unforgettable day celebrating the vibrant culture of Miami at the 80's Miami Celebration featuring the Bahamian Junkanoo Rush on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Held from 12 PM to 6 PM, this lively event will take you back to the iconic era of neon colors and rhythmic beats.Kick off your experience with the Miami and Miami Vice Trivia Contest at 12 PM and 2 PM, where you can flaunt your knowledge of the iconic show. Get the kids involved with Día de Muertos and Neon Face Painting, running from 12 PM to 5 PM, while exploring the Latin American and Caribbean Arts and Crafts market for unique finds.
At 1 PM, enjoy a spectacular performance by 80's reenactors featuring a tribute to Michael Jackson. Sing your heart out at the 80's Karaoke Contest at 3 PM, and dance to the beats of DJ Felix Sama with his 80's Latin Dance Video Music at 4 PM.
Don't miss the grand finale at 5 PM, the Bahamian Junkanoo Rush, a vibrant street parade celebrating Columbus Day with a nod to the discovery of the Americas in 1492.
