Edinburgh's dedicated club night for Afro-centric disco, house and club sounds returns to the Bongo to open up the new season with a guest DJ / percussion set from Glasgow's SHAKA LOVES YOU. As a festival-favourite act, they boast a truly unique show. Effortlessly fusing elements of funk, soul, disco & hip-hop with turntable trickery, tight live percussion and custom visuals, ‘SLY' create the perfect, good times live show. For their visit to us they will be firing up a special selection just for the Disco Makossa massive, leaning into that side of their hugely extensive crates of edits and remixes.
SLY will be joining residents Chris Astrojazz and Geez Wax to give you a super funky night of dancefloor action.
