Disco Latin-Equis! | A Queer Latin Disco Experience

This is a night dedicated to a culture and an era that revolutionized music and dancing! It was politically charged, community based, and passionate. Was it perfect? Nothing is. But the spirit of Disco is alive and well, and it's time we celebrated her. Dress in your very 70's BEST as we usher in the NEW age of disco in Durham. (Ages 21+)

Cult of Queer Movement presents: Disco Latin-Equis! A radically queer, latinx inspired dance night featuring:

• Hustle Dance lesson @8:30pm taught by Cult of Queer instructors
• Drag Performances by Kali Fuchis and Seymou Booti
• Food Trucks
• Salsa & Disco tunes provided by DJ Cokie from 9:30pm-12:30am
• Photobooth
• Dancing all night long <3

This event is brought to you by your friendly neighborhood queers with more friendly neighborhood queers in mind. Allies welcome, with a suggested additional donation at the door to a mutual aid fund/organization/individual.

Tickets available on a sliding scale. Tickets purchased at the higher end of the sliding scale help provide tickets for those who may not be able to afford them. Thanks for helping out a friend in need of fun!
