Disco + Design is a diorama-style installation and cultural program that celebrates disco’s enduring influence on design, sound, and creative expression.

Presented during Miami Art Week 2025, Disco + Design takes place in a hidden, 440-square-foot back room at BeyBey in Miami Beach - once a gallery, now transformed into a contemporary, sculptural + cinematic space styled after a 1970s curator’s listening den.

Curated by Disco + Design founder Michelle Leshem, co-founder Sam Baum, and interior designer Michael Dolatowski, the Disco + Design 2025 diorama features collectible furniture, hi-fi audio, lighting fixtures and other decor pieces from UMA, Soos Atelier, Furn Objects, Rich Aybar, Ninefrtn, Arrived Aliens, and work by AI Filmmaker/Animator Tom Laroc all set to a disco soundscape that spans classic, obscure, and contemporary cuts.

Disco + Design positions disco as a living creative language - a cultural movement that continues to shape how we design, build, listen, + live.
