Disco ball floral workshop

We’ve got something a little bit special for autumn. Lauren from Sunday Girl Floral is gonna be running an intimate workshop with us. As a local, independent florist based in Newcastle, ‘Not your grandmas flowers’ is definitely her thing and there’s an emphasis on fun and modern floral design. We’re thrilled she’s agreed to take us through step-by-step how to make none other than her disco ball vase sculptural floral arrangement. She’s also gonna teach us how to condition and take care of our stems, and some cool techniques such as maximising a flower's lifespan, prepping and conditioning flowers, and reflexing roses. All materials and tools will be provided for the workshop and Lauren will also tell us a little bit about her story and how Sunday Girl came about. So as we head into the sparkliest month of all, we’ll all have our disco balls at the ready.

As you can imagine, this is gonna be extremely popular and we’ve tried our best to fit as many people in as we possibly can. You’ll also understand that the cost of everything has shot through the roof, so although Lauren has offered us this event at a slightly reduced charity rate, we’re afraid ticket price is much higher than normal to cover overheads.

As usual, there’ll be cheeseboards and refreshments as part of your ticket price. 2-3 glasses of wine or non-alcoholic beverage, and cheeseboards. What could be better? Fleurs and fromage.
