Discipling Youth Symposium: The Shape of the Future Church
The Baptist Union of Victoria, Whitley College, and the Centre for Asian Christianity invites pastors, and leaders to the Discipling Youth Symposium to explore issues of youth discipleship in the context of cultural diversity and migrant communities.
Speakers include:
- Ps Grace Lung (Centre for Asian Christianity)
- Tluang Lausaw (Lutuv Baptist Church)
- Rev Robyn Song (Baptist Union of Victoria)
- Ps Jess Kristianto (Crossway Boroondara)
- Rev Daniel Bullock (Baptist Union of Victoria)
- Benjamin Tlak Ling (Lutuv Baptist Church)
- Dr Nuam Hatzaw (University of Edinburgh & CMS) - joining online

- An overview and history of Baptist Churches in Victoria
- The story of the Multicultural Church in Victoria
- Asian-Australian Futures in Global Perspectives
- Wellbeing with Chin young people
- Sunday School in migrant churches
- Church Planting & Evangelism

This intensive unit runs over two blocks, with both online and face-to-face options available. It’s a great way to combine practical insights from the Symposium with your academic learning.
