Disc Golf Beginner Bash!

Whether you're a complete beginner with no prior experience or a seasoned disc golf hobbyist, this fun charity event is open to you! All skill levels welcome. Ages 16+
At COPE Network's first ever Disc Golf Beginner Bash, participants will learn the fundamentals of disc golf, then practice and play a custom 12 hole round perfect for newbies (with some unique challenges thrown in!). No equipment of your own is required.
Already an experienced player but eager to assist newcomers to the sport? Feel free to join in on the fun and help others learn the game!
This event is welcoming and supportive of people who may be in recovery or seeking a sober activity. Identifying as sober, seeking recovery, or being a part of the recovery community is NOT required to attend this event. We simply ask that all attendees be compassionate and caring towards people in recovery or seeking recovery, just as you would any other attendee!
Each registered player will receive one free disc and one free ticket for entry into a raffle. Prizes generously donated by local businesses.
Proceeds from this event benefit COPE Network, a non-profit 501(c)(3) providing resources to individuals who use substances or who are in recovery in Southwest Michigan. COPE also provides overdose prevention trainings and distributes naloxone (the antidote to opioid overdoses) free of charge
