DisARTiculated is a growing collection of ArtBNyx's skeleton birds. These cute little skeletons are the framework for Nyx to express pain. Nyx suffers from chronic pain and uses art as therapy, by creating as a distraction from the pain or as a way to just express it. The birds became a symbol of pain. Like little chickens that will peck another to death for being different the choice to skeletonize them was to remind people that we are the same on the inside. We all have experienced pain and have all felt very alone and isolated. Nyx builds families of these skeleton birds in her art and builds a family of the broken in her life. check it out on 1st Saturday Art Walk 101 w 6 th St suite N Tucson AZ located in the historic Steinfeld Warehouse in the middle of the downtown construction
