La mostra è curata da Tina McCallan (artista and curatrice), organizzata da Francesca Ricci (artista) ed Erica Briani Pereyra (artista e scenografa) a Firenze e col supporto tecnico di Josie McCoy (artista).
In occasione dell’apertura del Laboratorio 13 Spazio d'Arte a cura dell’Associazione Città Sostenibile per il Conventino Caffè Letterario e La Corte Arte Contemporanea (Rosanna Tempestini Frizzi) presentiamo la mostra "Dirty Pink Florence. Sedici Artiste Internazionali", qui alla seconda tappa dopo l’esordio allo Sporting Club Russafa a Valencia, Spagna nel 2021.
Inoltre, nel fine settimana del 21 – 23 Ottobre 2022, la mostra, corredata da due visite guidate, è un evento del Calendario OFF del festival L’Eredità delle Donne, progetto di Elastica @elastica e partner fondatori e Fondazione CR Firenze @fondazionecrfirenze e Gucci. www.ereditadelledonne.eu

Sedici artiste provenienti da Australia, Italia, Kuwait, Regno Unito, Stati Uniti e Uruguay rispondono al ‘controverso’ colore rosa attraverso pittura, stampa, fotografia, video, performance, istallazione, NFT e ‘realtà aumentata’. Le opere in mostra, sia che abbraccino apertamente il colore rosa, sia che ne incarnino un atteggiamento, affrontano una varietà di tematiche. La mostra ha l’obiettivo di tessere un dialogo tra le varie artiste e i loro lavori, nonché creare opportunità di esporre a livello internazionale in un panorama artistico (ancora) dominato dalla presenza maschile.

The exhibition is curated by Tina McCallan (artist and curator), organised by Francesca Ricci (artist) and Erica Briani Pereyra (artist and set designer) in Florence with the technical support of Josie McCoy (artist).
On the occasion of the launch of the new contemporary art space Laboratorio 13 Spazio d'Arte, with the support of Associazione Città Sostenibile on behalf of il Conventino Caffè Letterario and La Corte Arte Contemporanea (Rosanna Tempestini Frizzi), we present "Dirty Pink Florence. Sixteen International Artists", here in its second edition after its launch at Sporting Club Russafa, Valencia, Spain, in 2021.
The exhibition presents a selection of works responding to the concept of ‘pink’ through painting, print, photography, video, performance, installation, NFTs and augmented reality by sixteen artists from Australia, Italy, Kuwait, UK, US and Uruguay. It aims to bring together female artists and create an artistic dialogue between them and their artwork as well as create opportunities for exhibiting internationally in a (still) male dominated art world.
We are delighted to be collaborating with Il Conventino to host the second edition, in the historic city of Florence and to be included in the OFF programme of the festival L’Eredità delle Donne (The Legacy of Women) www.ereditadelledonne.eu, which takes place from 21st-23rd October.
