Would you like to come to Dirks '' When I'm 66 Birthday Party Fundraiser, to raise money for Charity at which he volunteers - the Cambridge Cancer Help Centre -and one other Charity TBC. We hope to create another event where we can celebrate the joy and appreciation of life, that comes from being present in each other's special and unique company. Our intention is simple: to ask each adult to contribute £10.00 on the day, in Cash , to the Charity funds.So, just to re-emphasise.......... I am asking for NO PRESENTS, please , simply the Charity Donation of £10
We will also be running a Big Raffle on the night.

The return of the ( Dirk's Champs) It's a dance with a stranger similar to used at Blackpool Tower Ballroom and Ceroc competitions . Medals for 1st 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th place . A very large cup to keep for a year for the winning couple . I'm sure this year's worthy winners Daniel and Lucinda will be back to compete again.

For those who have attended some of the local Ceroc's dance events over the last couple of years, like the Funk and Smooth , Mini Fire & Ice of which Robbie has managed, just a similar plan.
Plus the very popular outside dancing and socialising. weather permitting, but we may look to book a Marquee anyway.
There will be 6 hours of dancing in 2 or 3 rooms with music incorporating Modern Jive , Chill-out , Soul Funk , and new for 2025 The Swing Set ( ''Dressing up optional but why not'' ) and Modern Blue's genres.
The Ladies back for another bold stage tribute performance .. Who will They Be ??? Any Requests ?
Free Tea and Coffee and Water and loverly nibbles will boost energy levels throughout the evening.
Everyone seemed to have loved the Gentleman Jim outside bar company this year , who we believe did a brilliant job looking after your drinking requirements throughout the evening . We have retained them for 2025.
Trumpington Meadows Primary is very conveniently located on the western outskirts of Cambridge, it is adjacent to the Trumpington Park and Ride, and is just a two minutes walk from the Park and Ride free car park.
We can arrange overnight parking for dancers Camper Vans.

Music and entertainment from 7.30 PM till 1.30 AM
We shall post more information in due course, but for now, would you be kind enough to forward plan your dance diary's, we hate the thought of doubling up against any other worthy events, so we have booked well in advance for this Charity Event ( Yes One Year In Advance Dancers ) So here's hoping that this does not happen and I will forwarded this date and event to many other local dance organisers so we can all work together.
