About this Event

Directing the Camera with Filmmaker - Part of Cinema Saturday

Filmmaker Ryan Moody leads this practical class on using the camera to tell your story. He’ll cover the fundamentals of creating strong compositions, lighting basics, and camera coverage, with hands-on demonstrations of how those choices can help you tell a story more effectively. This isn’t a cinematography class, but rather an overview of a director’s responsibilities regarding the camera and how to better communicate your vision to your crew.

Notes:

• Contestants can only win one prize across all classes
• Must attend the class to be eligible
