Saturday, Sept 21 at the Still and Moving Center in Kakaako Asaf Ronen teaches 2 improv workshops!Directing Improv with Asaf Ronen
Improv might be the most challenging of the performing arts for a director to skillfully mold their cast, and this class will show you techniques for orchestrating rehearsals, preparing for shows and giving notes. Participants will be given the opportunity to apply the techniques through hands on experience directing each other.
About ASAF RONEN
Asaf is the Education Director and a Producer of Austin’s annual Out of Bounds Comedy Festival. He is currently the Conservatory Director at ColdTowne Theatre, and the author of Directing Improv: Show the Way By Getting Out of the Way.
In 1999, Asaf founded the improv website, YESand.com of which he is Editor-in-Chief. He was a producer on TRUST US, THIS IS ALL MADE UP, a documentary on legendary improvisers TJ & Dave, and was a creative consultant on the improvised film Days of Delusion directed by Scott Myers.
