Johnny Casino plays what could be loosely described as Rock ́n ́roll music laced with dark folk blues,
soul, country, punk and a bunch of different styles in between!! At times you might hear wild 4 piece horn
sections, tender piano, acoustic guitars, electric guitars played way too loud!, Hammond church organ and
from sweet lyrics to dangerous howling rants!
Have guitar will travel seems to be Casino ́s mantra, having lived in Australia, North America and now
Spain, recording music in cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Philadelphia, Valencia, London,
Barcelona, Madrid and seemingly having an endless and rotating cast of band members from all corners
of the globe. Folks call JC many things, big honest and wild or a rambler and a gambler, and they might
describe his music as soulful, heartfelt, dangerous, loud and out of control, or ̈he ́s just playing a bunch
of those old Chuck Berry licks that he learned while playing in his uncles band back in 1984 only much
louder ̈....and on any given evening all these things could be true.
Johnny and the band will be playing songs from his more than 25 recorded albums since 1992 so look
forward to hearing all the ̈hits ̈ and ̈misses ̈
