Direct Care Wroker Training & Comedy Workshop: Laugh with Your Client

CalGrows, California's Department of Aging, and Kinary - a new mobile app designed to support caregivers - are thrilled to present a FREE Family Caregiver Training Program for California residents.

This program is designed for direct care workers who are actively caring for a client who is aging, has a disability, or a chronic health issue. Our course will empower direct care workers with the skills and tools to be better prepared for the role of caregiving.

Laughter on Call's interactive workshop and training is rooted in mental wellness designed to foster connection through shared laughter - combining compassion with comedy to boost morale, relieve stress, and improve communication for caregivers.

Additionally, this opportunity will include an introduction to the Kinary mobile app that offers family caregivers an all-in-one solution to help better manage the care of their loved ones. This FREE digital tool helps direct care workers craft personalized care plans, engage a care team, manage their client's medications, appointments, activities, etc.

This course is for Direct Care Workers based in California only.
