Please note: Wearing a mask is recommended for those who are not fully vaccinated. In honor of National Catfish Day, come on out to Isle a la Cache and spend some time dip netting in the Des Plaines River. See what underwater wildlife you can catch, like dragonfly nymphs, crayfish, tadpoles and perhaps even a catfish! Find out what makes a catfish a catfish and learn about the ones that call Will County home.
This is a drop-in program; come anytime between 10 a.m. and noon.
No registration required.
Isle a la Cache Museum is an accessible facility; outdoor activities may take place on uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online (https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information) no later than 48 hours before the program.
