This September 30th, honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation by attending the 7:30pm diocesan Mass held at St. Basil’s parish. September 30th is not a festive holiday. Instead, it is a reminder to pause our lives and sit in the discomfort of the past and present wounds dealt to the Indigenous Peoples of Canada. As a diocese, let us embrace the call for reconciliation with open hearts and minds.

Ce 30 septembre, pour souligner la Journée nationale de la vérité et de la réconciliation, venez assister à la messe diocésaine, célébrée à 19h30 à la paroisse St. Basil. Le 30 septembre n’est pas une fête, mais plutôt une invitation à mettre notre vie sur pause afin de reconnaître les souffrances passées et présentes infligées aux peuples autochtones du Canada.
