🦖 THE NBVA DINOSAUR LEAGUE IS HERE! 🦕
The old(er) dogs are back on the sand! 🏐
Beach volleyball for the 40+ crowd — the players who’ve been around long enough to earn the name Dinosaurs and still bring the thunder. Expect big rallies, bigger laughs and enough competitive roar to prove that BVB dinosaurs are far from extinct!
But let’s be clear: this is as much party as it is play! 🎶 There’s a DJ spinning, so pack a bit of rhythm — nobody wants to see the poor soul playing to an empty, sandy dancefloor.

EVENT DETAILS
🏐 Format: 2v2 Male and Female Social Tournament
👥 Eligibility: 40+ year old players
📍 Location: Manly Beach
⏰ Time: 8:15 am – approximately 3:00 pm
The tournament will follow a format similar to regular NBVA events, with two divisions per gender, group stages, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Open Division, with team entries accepted on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited team capacity.
We’re planning to run two divisions per gender: Division 1 and Division 2. Once registrations close, teams will be ranked accordingly based on NBVA ranking points and allocated to the appropriate division.
If registrations exceed capacity, NBVA may introduce a waitlist.
Note: NBVA ranking points will not be awarded for this social tournament.
REGISTRATION DETAILS
Spots are limited and expected to fill quickly, so find your partner and get your team registered early!
Registrations open: Monday, 19 October 2026.
Registrations close: 12:00 pm Monday, 26 October, or earlier if capacity is reached.
All players must hold a valid Volleyball NSW membership — either a One Day or Full Membership.
