Dino Brandão est loin d’être un inconnu dans le paysage musical Suisse, il est même considéré comme l’un des talents les plus prometteurs de la scène helvétique ! Dino s’est déjà produit au Montreux Jazz Festival avec son groupe Frank Powers, à posé sa voix sur le dernier album de Sophie Hunger, avant d’intégrer sur scène un trio avec elle et Faber. Le chanteur et multi-instrumentiste d’origine angolaise compose désormais ses chansons afro-folk en son propre nom. Il nous dévoile aujourd’hui « Bouncy Castle », un premier single, accompagné d’un clip magistral, en attendant un album à venir chez Two Gentlemen.

Wie de Zwitserse muziekscene volgt, zal de naam Dino Brandão vermoedelijk wel kennen. Hij is een van de grootste talent uit het land van Emmental; zo speelde hij met Frank Powers al op Montreux Jazz Festival en maakte hij een volledig album met lokale supersterren Sophie Hunger en Faber. De zanger en multi-instrumentalist met Angolese roots staat nu aan het begin van een veelbelovend solo-avontuur. Op nummers als 'Bouncy castle' doet hij je kennis maken met rijke afro-folkklanken, die proberen om zijn eigen identiteit te vatten. Brandāo geeft zo klassieke witte singer-songwriterliedjes een heel persoonlijke twist.
