Join us for some delicious food and good conversation while we explore Central Texas cuisine.This month's stop on the WilCo Food Tour is Louisiana Longhorn Cafe in Round Rock. On the menu is Cajun food with an attitude.
Cajun food with an attitude. The Louisiana Longhorn Café was established in February 2003 by Ray & Melinda Overstreet. They are Louisiana natives and wanted to bring some authentic Cajun food to Texas. After a successful 18 years Ray & Melinda decided it was time to hang up the aprons and retire from the restaurant business.
Warren and Jenny Smith (owners of the Texan Café & Pie Shop) purchased the Café in December 2021 and continue to use the same recipes and serve the same dishes that made the Louisiana Longhorn Café famous. We pledge to stay authentic to the Cajun menu and bring a few new menu items to keep things interesting.
