For our final Dinner & A Movie of the year, we'll be leaning into the holiday spirit with the classic "White Christmas", starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen.To complement the movie, Chef Billy Wood has put together a five-course menu inspired by the season, the film, and the time in history "White Christmas" is set:
First Course: Green Apple & Golden Beet Carpaccio
Michigan green apples, roasted golden beets, local honey, fennel pollen, and toasted pumpkin seeds
Second Course: Blue Hubbard Squash Bisque
Locally-grown blue hubbard squash, mint and hubbard seed pesto, finished with pumpkin seed oil
Third Course: Black Walnut & Cranberry Salad
Lacinato kale, black walnuts, blue cheese, and roasted cranberry vinaigrette
Fourth Course: Red Wattle Pork Loin
Apple cider-glazed pork loin, carrot-ginger purée, and roasted chestnuts
Fifth Course: White Chocolate & Peppermint Cheesecake
French white chocolate, organic peppermint, and a sugar cookie crust
Beer, wine, and non-alcholic beverages will be available for purchase at the event.
