About this Event
Inspired by the powerful true story, Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot follows Donna and Reverend Martin as they ignite a fire in the hearts of their rural church to embrace children in the foster care system who needed adoptive families, proving that steady, determined love can transform the lives of vulnerable children.
In Jefferson County, there are currently 1200 children who need safe, temporary foster homes, and 517 of licensed foster families. 324 children are waiting for adoption.
Doors open at 5:30 PM to meet some of our community partners. A panel discussion will follow the film, featuring representatives from The Care Coalition and local foster care advocates.
