Join the Distant Relatives Project for Dine for a Cause at Blackwall Hitch in Alexandria on Thursday, September 24, 2026.
From 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 20% of proceeds will benefit the Distant Relatives Project and help fund our 2027 Empowering Our Relatives (EOR) program across the United States.
Empowering Our Relatives is our community-based initiative focused on supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness and other hardships. Through EOR, we bring essential resources and services directly into underserved communities, creating an environment where people can access support with dignity.
Funds raised will help us provide hot meals and fresh produce, clothing, toiletries and first-aid supplies, health screenings, grooming services, housing and identification assistance, mental health resources, and other essential services. Your support will also help us strengthen and expand EOR outreach efforts in communities across the country.
Every meal purchased helps us prepare for another year of impact.
