Dimensional Collage Workshop

This workshop introduces participants to collage as both a two-dimensional and three-dimensional art form. Using found images, paper, transparent materials, and simple construction techniques, participants will create a dimensional collage that exists somewhere between a traditional collage and a relief sculpture.
Through experimentation with layering, transparency, texture, and depth, participants will discover how the arrangement of images and materials can influence composition, meaning, and the viewer’s experience. Rather than focusing on creating a perfect image, this workshop encourages curiosity, play, and creative problem-solving.
No previous collage experience is necessary — just a willingness to explore and experiment! This workshop is taught by Everson Teaching Artist Greg Lendeck.
