Old-fashioned fermented pickles are a delicious and healthy way to preserve cucumbers. Unlike modern pickles that use vinegar, traditional fermented pickles rely on natural fermentation to develop their tangy flavour. This process not only enhances the taste but also promotes the growth of beneficial probiotics.Take home a jar of pickles home to finish fermenting!
Sample Dill Pickles!
This workshop takes place during the Stewiacke Community Garden Sunday Market - lots of vendors to check out! Live music at noon!
