The City of Hagerstown is pleased to announce the grand opening of Dill Dinkers Pickleball on Friday, March 27 at 4:00 pm at 967 Sweeney Drive. Dill Dinkers provides a welcoming space as a destination for pickleball players of all ages and skill levels to enjoy the game indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
The Dill Dinkers Hagerstown pickleball facility, open since December 1, 2025, features a comfortable social area where players can relax, connect, and share their love of the sport. The courts are premium CushionX surfaces, designed for optimal play, reduced impact, and greater comfort on players’ feet. Dill Dinkers Hagerstown also offers a dedicated party room, making it easy to host business events, celebrations, or private gatherings by renting both courts and event space for a memorable experience.
Members and non-members alike can participate in open play sessions, where you can easily find others to play with by simply signing up. The facility also offers children’s programs, beginner and newbie classes, as well as intermediate and advanced instruction, and leagues and tournament opportunities. Visitors can stop by to watch Hagerstown’s new professional pickleball team, the Hagerstown Hit Squad, practice.
Dill Dinkers Hagerstown pickleball club is owned by Elly McCarthy, a young female entrepreneur who developed a passion for pickleball in recent years and decided to bring that enthusiasm to the Hagerstown community. As a Marylander, born and raised nearby, she played with a lot of enthusiastic players from Hagerstown and surrounding areas and felt Hagerstown would be a great community to start this endeavor, and she was right! The community is supportive, active and grateful that such a great place to play and socialize has come to the area. This location represents an expansion of the Dill Dinkers franchise. Many players drive long distances to play at Dill Dinkers locations, and now they are excited to have a location in Hagerstown!
