ARTIST BIOS
⚡️DIGITALISM⚡️: are an electronic act with the attitude of a rock band. Indie kids love their hooks, clubbers are drawn to their beats and basses. A DIY spirit, in-thmoment energy and a low boredom threshold – have been crucial to Digitalism’s practice since they wrote their first track (from a studio inside a WWII bunker in Hamburg 20 years ago).
International attention and global tours followed the release of their genre-defining album debut “IDEALISM” in 2007. The heavy use of their music in video games, movies etc. has gathered them a huge, loyal following around the world!
Digitalism are fans of earthbound rock ‘n’ roll. Their reinterpretation of The Cure’s Fire In Cairo’, entitled Digitalism in Cairo, was one 2006’s cult re-edits. They managed to clear this version for their debut album ‘Idealism’, billed as owing as much to Joy Division or The Associates as to Daft Punk. As Sean McClusky, the legendary London rock club promoter, who booked the duo recently, puts it “Digitalism are as popular with indie kids as electro or techno clubbers.”.
Their performances have consistently wowed audiences around the world and those who have been lucky enough to secure a ticket to their sold out NZ shows before, will know that these tickets will be hotly contested, as a DIGITALISM show in your city, is something you can't miss!

⚡️AURAL TRASH⚡️: is an Auckland-based DJ and production duo formed by NZ music legends, DJ Greg Churchill and Angela Fisken. Known for their long-running radio shows on 95BFM and GeorgeFM, they transitioned into music production around 2010, creating remixes for local and international artists. They are associated with the electro and house scene, including releases on Gung Ho Recordings.
Headliners in their own right, Aural Trash sets & events have a fiercely popular reputation, in part due to the mind-blowing tracks unearthed for the evening & delivered seemlessly to the audience by the duo - time and time again! Expect infectious head nodding, body moving vibes from the start! Aural Trash sets are a rarity these days, so when the stars do align - you best not miss out!
