About this Event

Here at we exist to create community and empower women in business and digital, through support, skills and networking. We know the power of creating spaces for people to come together to share experiences and skills and raise each other up.

Gathering together at our big in-person events is so meaningful but local is where the daily grind happens - in your little corner of the world.

'Digital Women Local' is an opportunity to meet others in your area, to network, to build connection and relationships, to learn from each other, to be accountable in reaching your goals and to champion each other in that daily grind.

Digital Women Local started in Kent in 2023 before expanding into London - and then launched in Scotland in 2026.

Following our first two successful Scotland events, we're excited to return with our third Digital Women: Local event in Edinburgh.

About the Event

Join host at Tigerlily, 125 George Street, Edinburgh EH2 4JN for a relaxed, friendly meet-up.

Enjoy free networking, a chance to meet and connect with others working in business or digital across Scotland - plus a conversational workshop led by Design Thinking expert, Lisa Botes

Just buy yourself a drink (or perhaps lunch too - Tigerlily has a great menu!)

About the Workshop: Exploring Design Thinking

Lisa Botes is Design Thinking expert, with over 15 years' experience helping businesses and individuals untangle strategy, develop out-of-the-box solutions, and get things done, without the fluff.

In this relaxed, interactive workshop she'll be introducing Design Thinking and exploring how we can apply it to our own work to think more boldy and imaginatively about how we approach and solve problems.

Meet the Host - Harriet Mathie

Harriet Mathie helps ambitious organisations build distinctive authority and practical thought leadership to grow their business.

Over the past two decades, she's turned ideas into successful organisations, national initiatives and numerous resources used by individuals, businesses and government bodies - working with everyone from solo founders and small businesses to universities, corporates and government organisations along the way.

Harriet is the founder of Yellow Pebbles and is a Digital Women Awards Finalist and the Highly Commended Data Specialist of the Year, 2025.
