Digital Women Local: SCOTLAND (July event)
About this Event
Here at we exist to create community and empower women in business and digital, through support, skills and networking. We know the power of creating spaces for people to come together to share experiences and skills and raise each other up.
Gathering together at our big in-person events is so meaningful but local is where the daily grind happens - in your little corner of the world.
'Digital Women Local' is an opportunity to meet others in your area, to network, to build connection and relationships, to learn from each other, to be accountable in reaching your goals and to champion each other in that daily grind.
Digital Women Local launched its pilot events in Kent in 2023 before expanding into London and, now, Scotland.
Following a brilliant first event in April, we're excited to return with our second Digital Women: Local event in Scotland.
About the Event
Join host at Tigerlily, 125 George Street, Edinburgh EH2 4JN for a relaxed, friendly meet-up.
Enjoy free networking and a conversational workshop led by marketing strategist Suz Bird
Just buy yourself a drink (or perhaps lunch too - Tigerlily has a great menu!)
About the Workshop: Content, Coffee and Co-working
Suz Bird will host a conversational workshop exploring effective social media strategy, current platform trends, evolving user behaviour and practical approaches to content planning and posting.
Many business owners fall into the trap of creating for the algorithm instead of their audience. We can become stuck in constant content creation with little engagement, chasing trends in search of “viral moments”, or posting sporadically when time allows. But in the 2026 social media landscape, that isn’t going to get us anywhere.
Businesses are competing with increasing content noise, AI-generated content, crowded platforms and rapidly evolving user behaviour - including the rise of Social SEO. More than ever, brands need to create content that feels intentional, audience-focused and sustainable!
Attendees will have the opportunity to repurpose, create or schedule content for their own channels during the session. If you would like to work on content, please bring your laptop or phone. You're also very welcome to simply come along for the conversation, networking - and to connect with other women working in digital or business.
Please note: LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook will be the primary platforms used during the co-creation session, although questions and conversations around TikTok and Threads are very welcome.
