DJ Spider's Extremely Ridiculous Very Spoopy Birthday Party! Featuring a very special live performance from Idol Talk!It's our monthly night of spooky stomping at the Milestone, but with extra spoopiness this month (Hey, it's my party and I'll spoop if I want to!) Still spinning the best of dark dance - industrial, goth, synthpop, post-punk, darkwave and more, with extra ridiculousness.
Idol Talk is a darkwave/post-punk trio from Carrboro, North Carolina, creating danceable anthems with gothic themes. Their sound echoes 80s synths, basslines, and guitars. Influenced by The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, and modern acts like Drab Majesty and Twin Tribes.
In April 2025 they released their debut album 'Allure' which explored loss, love and existential longing, offering a soundtrack for the dark.
