Digital LA - Digital Comics Creators and Startups

Join us for our in-person chat with comics creators and startup founders who'll describe how they use digital tools in comics related careers and startups. The panel will be in-person, indoors, in the back of the Mega City One comic book store on Melrose. Space limited to 20 attendees. Masks will be required of all guests to enter the store, and throughout the duration of the event. Attendees can purchase comic books, graphic novels, toys and other merch at Mega City One before and after the event. There is a 20% discount for new comics. Street parking on your own, or take the bus/rideshare.

Anne Toole, WGA-award winning writer on Horizon Zero Dawn video game, and Horizon Zero Dawn comic books, icnluding Liberation #1, releasing the Wed before our panel! You can purchase her comic at Mega City One with a special 20% off discount!

Jordan Plosky, Zoop, Founder. Zoop is a crowdfuding platform which lets artists raise money to help fund production, operations for their comic books and comics related projects.

Chandler Poling, X-Reads Podcast, co-founder. X-Reads podcast nostalgically reviews favorite X-Men comic books, from times when there were no podcasts to discuss them. X-Reads Podcast has interviewed several X-men creators, and just celebrated its 2-year anniversary. Chandler has also hosted Marvel's Hellfire Gala livestream event, and has moderated an X-Men fan panel with surprise celebriteis at San Diego Comic-Con.

Kevin Winston, Digital LA. Kevin has organized an annual comics related pnael in Los Angeles before San Diego Comic-con for the past decade, as well as a Comic Cocktails in San Diego during SDCC.
