Your personal data, acessible through social media posts, video or image uploads and others, shapes the digital portrait of who you are, more public than you may realize. Does that make you feel uneasy?
For a healthier digital life you have to protect your online privacy. This workshop covers the basics of digital security and how to protect your data: Learn about your digital footprint, the most common online threats and simple tactics so you can defend yourself from them.
You’ll also learn about Open Source alternatives for commonly used apps and platforms, which are not profiling your data and don’t use you as a product, but are sustained by communitites.

No previous experience or knowledge is needed.
Language: Mainly due to the technical nature of the workshop, the main language will be English, but we can assist people who are not fluent.
