Whether you’re curious about our cutting-edge spaces or looking to collaborate, we invite you to explore our hubs for digital innovation, research, and creative media production.

During our guided tours, you'll get an inside look at:

• Digital Futures Institute (DFI): Located on Russell Hall's 5th floor. Explore our Gallery, design studio, and mixed-use space to learn more about the work we do.
• Smith Learning Theater (SLT): Located on Russell Hall's 4th floor, this space provides an experimental environment that can be configured and curated to support innovative ideas.
• Macy Studio: Located at Macy 259, this studio holds our podcasting studio, self-service recording station, and professional recording studio. During our tours, you will learn how you can utilize this space during your time at Teachers College.

Join us for a guided tour at 2:00 pm & 4:00 pm, or drop by during our open exploration 

Hour at 3:00 pm to walk through the spaces at your own pace and chat with the DFI team!

Event Schedule

• 2:00 PM – 2:45 PM | Guided Tour & Q&A (Session 1)

• Meet at the front entrance of Russell Hall, 5th floor, for a guided walkthrough of DFI, the Smith Learning Theater (SLT), and Macy Studio.

• 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Open House & Space Exploration

• Drop in to explore our facilities on your own, connect with staff, and learn about our programs and resources.

• 4:00 PM – 4:45 PM | Guided Tour & Q&A (Session 2)

• A second opportunity for a guided tour of DFI, SLT, and Macy Studio with live Q&A. Meet at the front entrance of Russell Hall, 5th floor
