About this Event

What does AI mean for the future of Ontario’s built environment?

Join Digital Built Ontario for AI, under construction., a special two-city event bringing the built-environment community together in Toronto and Ottawa for an evening focused on AI, digital transformation, infrastructure, and the foundations needed to turn emerging technology into meaningful change.

This isn’t two separate events. It’s one conversation happening simultaneously in two cities.

Toronto and Ottawa will each host an in-person audience and a local speaker. When the Toronto speaker takes the stage, the presentation will be broadcast live to Ottawa. When Ottawa takes the stage, the presentation will be broadcast live to Toronto.

The result: two rooms, two perspectives, and one connected discussion about the digital future of Ontario’s built environment.

The evening reflects Digital Built Ontario’s mission to lead the digital transformation of Ontario’s Built Environment and establish it as the global benchmark for digital adoption and innovation.

Ottawa | Tony Hiratsuka, Director of Business Operations, Tiree

Tony Hiratsuka works at the intersection of operations, technology, and organizational change.

A professional engineer with nearly 15 years of experience in structural and seismic engineering, Tony brings a systems-based perspective to digital transformation. His current work focuses on data architecture, automation, and the integration of AI into the enterprise.

A key part of that work is addressing what comes before successful AI adoption: establishing the data governance, information architecture, and controls organizations need to use AI effectively while maintaining control of the information on which it depends.

Toronto | Raymond Chow, Principal, gh3*

Raymond Chow brings more than 20 years of architectural experience to gh3*, where he leads projects from design development through construction and plays a central role in the firm’s integrated approach to architecture, landscape architecture, and urban design.

As leader of gh3*’s digital practice, Raymond oversees BIM implementation, visualization, and technical workflows while exploring how emerging technologies can improve design quality, coordination, and project delivery.

His recent interests focus on the relationship between infrastructure and urbanism, including digital infrastructure, data centres, digital twins, district energy, mobility networks, and low-carbon technologies, and the opportunities these systems create for architectural leadership and more resilient, efficient, and sustainable cities.

One event. Two cities. A shared conversation.

Whether you join us in Toronto or Ottawa, you’ll experience both presentations live, connect with members of Ontario’s built-environment community, and take part in a broader conversation about where AI and digital transformation are taking our industry next.

Join Digital Built Ontario for an evening of ideas, discussion, and connection as we explore what it means to build a more digitally enabled future for Ontario’s built environment.
