Join us for a special event to learn about the Briggs Ford Archeological Site, a Native American village that was located on the Monocacy River in Frederick County, Maryland. Dr. Matt McKnight will be speaking about the 2013-2015 excavation of the site, while Dr. Lauren Lippiello will discuss the ongoing work to display and interpret the material at Frederick Community College. This free event is being hosted by the Frederick City Planning Department, the Monocacy Archeological Society and the Frederick County Public Library: Maryland Room. Call 301-600-1831 for questions.
