Dig + Disconnect Workshops - Create + Meditate

Dig + Disconnect is Miyagi Records’ weekly Friday workshop series built around slow listening, creative practice, and community time.

Each session opens up a different entry point into music culture — from digging and taste-making to open decks, zine-making, guest selectors, and hands-on skill-building. It’s for collectors, DJs, artists, listeners, and anyone looking to step away from the scroll and reconnect with sound in real life.

Join artist and certified yoga instructor Lee Sunshine for a tranquil afternoon filled with meditation and creative expression. Come to soothe your body, calm your mind, and tap into your creativity as a pathway to healing. Participants will be guided through breath work & a seated meditation to calm the body and steady the mind as a start to the creative process. After the guided meditation, you'll have the opportunity to create intuitive art. You can choose to collage, draw your feelings, or color in Lovelee Being coloring pages. Feel free to bring your own journal if you'd like; all art supplies will be provided.

As a certified yoga instructor and self-taught artist, Lee aims to help people connect with their breath to embrace stillness and present mind awareness, She seeks to provide people with the opportunity to connect with their breath, creativity and community in a meaningful way by creating experiences to engage with art as a healing modality. Since 2020, Lee has dedicated herself to her yoga & art practice, passionately integrating both into her calming workshops.
