Different Stories for a Different Future - A Green Changemakers Philosophy

How do we write social purpose back into capitalism? Lou and Fraser present one line of flight along Gramscian lines, working with Green Changemakers to shift paradigms and practice in education. Learn how these Philosophers of Praxis channel their potentia to influence culture and systems change for a greener future.

Dr Lou Mycroft is a changemaker, social entrepreneur and TedX speaker (‘The Ethics of Joy’). She works with changemakers and policymakers across further education, to enact new values-led possibilities. This takes graft, and there are still people looking out for magic bullets, but change is in the air. Lou is co-director of the social enterprises FEConstellations and Thinking Cultures, a co-founder of the JoyFE💛 Collective and facilitator of the Green Changemakers.

Fraser Mycroft is a social anthropologist, with degrees from Edinburgh University and SOAS. He is a researcher and a storyteller, currently working on social impact initiatives with the Green Changemakers. He specialises in amplifying working-class voices around food, joy, humour and grief.
