About this Event
Much of the prevailing wisdom on what is healthy eating is based on dietary beliefs, not facts. This talk is about a few key myths and some practical tips on how to eat well for good health: a talk by Caroline Walker, Ambassador for the Public Health Collaboration.
Caroline transformed her own health over a decade ago, putting her Type 2 diabetes into remission and losing her excess weight through eating a lower carb, real food diet and she will share her story in the talk, providing inspiration for how eating well can improve health as well as ideas that everyone can put into practice.
Caroline is an Ambassador for the Public Health Collaboration, which is a UK registered charity dedicated to improving public health through better dietary and lifestyle information. More information can be found here: phcuk.org
The PHC work with GPs and other health care providers around the country to promote a lower carb, real food way of eating running groups for people living with diabetes.
She is also a qualified Nutrition and Health Coach and a member of the UK Health Coaches Association. See her website for more details, to read her blog and or browse a range of real food recipes www.watchyourwaist.net
