Come see a short documentary about Butler, PA native Marc Fogel. Participate in a Q&A with director Max Karpman. Meet some of Marc's family and friends. View works of art created in his advocacy.
Formerly a distinguished history teacher at the now closed Anglo-American School of Moscow, Marc Fogel was found with a small amount of prescribed medical cannabis while entering Russia for what was to be his final year educating the youth of America's diplomats. Mr. Fogel was slapped with a smuggling charge and 14-year Pr*son sentence. When a celebrity sports star (and recreational user) was similarly searched and detained at the airport, the US Government prioritized her release and celebrated her return just a few months later. Conversely, three years on, Marc's medical condition continues to deteriorate as the State Department he once supported ignores him.
